In addition, the Ukrainian population is rapidly declining due to labour migration: 7-9 million people go to work abroad, which Ukraine took the first place in the ranking of countries with the most rapid decline in the working-age resources. Also, the aging index Ukraine ranks 29th.
Given these challenges, the National family movement of Ukraine in Kyiv, the IV all-Ukrainian forum of family, aimed at improving the condition of the family institution.
The event will take place at the initiative of the Ukrainian Cathedral and with the support of the Ukrainian Council of Churches and religious organizations and the Interfactional Deputy Association “For spirituality, morality and health of Ukraine”.
The forum will include plenary sessions and thematic sections, will be developed in the global strategy of family movement. In particular, a plan of action in 2019.
The aim of the event is to consolidate the efforts of authorities and the public to protect the values of the Ukrainian family and the formation of the state family policy, based on Ukrainian traditional values.
To participate in the forum invited the leadership of the state, members of government, parliamentarians, academics, journalists, teachers, representatives of public authorities and local governments, religious organizations, parents ‘ committees, Pro-family, children and youth organizations from all regions of Ukraine. We are expecting about 1000 delegates.
The forum will be held March 1, 2019, from 10:00 to 17:00 at the Ukrainian house (Kyiv, vul. Khreshchatyk, 2).
