In Kharkov SC seized fur coats in millions of hryvnias

KIEV. 5 Dec. UNN. During searches in shopping center “Barabashovo” in Kharkiv on the case of the supply of fur for the “gray scheme” seized more than 300 coats to more than 2 million hryvnia. This was reported by the press service of the Eastern regional Directorate of the state border service, reports UNN.

So, searches were conducted yesterday, December 4 in the framework of criminal proceedings under article 212 of the criminal code of Ukraine – evasion of taxes, duties (mandatory payments).

“The reason became evidence of the involvement of individuals to the organization of the smuggling channel of income in Ukraine (the so-called “gray scheme” by international postal shipments) and the further implementation in Ukraine of precious clothing made of natural fur”, – stated in the message.

The results of the searches at the place of residence of members of criminal group and places of dissemination of the products in the shopping center “Barabashovo” in Kharkiv seized more than 300 pieces of fur products for the sum of 2 million 230 thousand hryvnias. Cash equivalent of more than 100 thousand UAH, a Bank card, documentation confirming the nature of the criminal acts.

“Last investigative and operational activities, establishes the full range of persons involved in the import and sale of specified products, including among responsible officials,” – said in the regional Department.

Recall that while checking one of the carriages of the Moscow train in the ceiling space found 15 fur from foxes and Arctic foxes.
