In Kharkov medic extorted 100 thousand UAH for operation.

SBU detained the head of Department of one of the scientific medical institutions of Kharkov on suspicion in systematic extortion of bribes for the provision of medical care. Reports a press about it-service SBU.

“Medic systematically demanded money from people in need of medical care. In particular, performing surgery and providing postoperative medical care, the Department demanded from the patient a hundred thousand hryvnias”, – is told in the message.

In SBU noted that detained the physician in his office after obtaining all sum of a bribe.

Today the Prosecutor’s office of Kiev region together with Management of internal security of the State fiscal service in Kyiv region detained the employee of the Kyiv customs office of the SFS, which demanded from the citizen 1100 euros.
