In Kharkov, killed the mechanic in the repair of the break tube
KIEV. March 11. UNN. In Kharkov, March 9, on Sadovaya street during the repair of a breakthrough pipe killed a 57 year old mechanic that has not seen that covered the hot water. About it UNN reported with reference to the division of communications of the police in Kharkiv region.
“57-year-old man was in a heat chamber along with his partner. Hoping that the hot water in the pipe was blocked, he began to hold events for its repair. However, the water was not blocked and was under pressure. A pipe burst and hot water came on a 57-year-old worker. The man received injuries”, – stated in the message.
The man got thermal burns of the third degree, and abdominal trauma.
To a scene there arrived emergency team. The man died in the ambulance.
On this fact the investigative Department of the Kiev police opened criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 272 (violation of safety rules during the execution of works of high danger) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. The sanction of article prescribes the maximum punishment in the form of imprisonment till 8 years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to 3 years. The investigation is continuing.
