28 February at the airport in Athens (Greece) at the request of Ukraine detained Russia’s Evgeny Kalinin.
This was told by lawyer Yannis Rachiotis, RIA Novosti reported.
It is noted that Kalinin was the Executive Director of the company Sergey Kurchenko’s VETEK.

According to the report, March 1, held a hearing on the detention, after which Kalinin was sent to Korydallos prison, while in Greece will not cause the Ukrainian request for extradition.
In turn, the Twitter of the Russian Embassy in Greece said that “the detainee render all necessary assistance”.
On the Peacemaker website stated that Kalinin is wanted by the police. He is considered a fugitive from the bodies of preliminary investigation. Date of disappearance 29 may 2017. Kalinina accused of forming a criminal organization, sluzbenom fraud and tax evasion (article 255, part 1, article 366, part 1, part 3 of article 212 of the criminal code of Ukraine).
