KIEV. June 8. UNN. In Buenos Aires was found dead younger sister of the Queen of the Netherlands INES Zorreguieta, writes the Dutch edition NLTimes with reference to the communication from the government of the country, reports UNN.
Information about the suicide of a member of the Dutch Royal family also confirmed the portal La Nacion. This was stated by the official representative of the government of the Netherlands. “I confirm that INES Zorreguieta, sister Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, died Wednesday night, apparently it was a suicide,” he told reporters. In connection with the incident, Queen máxima has canceled all public events on 7 and 8 June. According to Dutch De Telegraaf, members of the Royal family will travel on an unofficial visit to Argentina, where will be held the funeral of Inez.
The body of 33-year-old was found dead in her apartment early on the morning of 7 June. Investigation of circumstances of incident is engaged in the Argentine police. INES Zorreguieta lived in Buenos Aires. In Argentina, she received an education psychologist and 2016 worked at the Executive Secretariat of the National Council for the coordination of social policy. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, she worked at the UN office in Panama.
In recent years, the younger sister of the Queen suffered from depression, says La Nacion. In addition, it was known that she suffers from anorexia and is under the supervision of doctors. Says NLTimes, Queen máxima has repeatedly invited my sister to move to the Netherlands, however, refused. Inez was the godmother of Princess Ariana, one of the three daughters of Queen Maxima.
