In the Belgian city of Ronse (East Flanders) Tutors of a kindergarten drew attention to the growing influence of extremist movements in Islam on the behavior of toddlers, reports
newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws , citing an internal report.

According to the document, the concern is, for example, quoting children Koran during the games or failure to attend nursery on Fridays for religious reasons.

It was also found that children from Muslim families threatened with death
“wrong” to classmates, calling them “pigs” and show the gestures of threat to cut the throat. In conversations with parents it became clear that those supporting their children in such behaviour.

The network of experts on Islam Netwerk Islamexperten, created last year to develop solutions to counter radicalisation among children in Flanders, has already received 481 complaints of problems in educational institutions. But experts first fixed signs of the Islamist radicalization of such young children.

As stated in the report prepared earlier by experts of the center for analysis of threats under the Ministry of interior of the Kingdom, radical Islam is actively preached in Belgium, where “an increasing number of mosques and Islamic centers are under the influence of Wahhabism (supporters of Wahhabism are characterized by radicalism and intolerant attitude towards Muslims who adhere to other branches of Islam), who is a missionary tool of the Salafis”.

According to local press, in Belgium, the ideas of Wahhabism have been actively promoted in mosques of Brussels, Antwerp, Vilvoorde and Mechelen, reports RIA “Novosti”. To counter the rapid radicalization of Islam Belgian Federal government recently provided 3.3 million euros for the salary of the first time embarking on the duties of imams.

However, according to the press, likely in some cases to take such measures too late – about 30 out of approximately 80 active in Belgium mosques preached radical Islam. The Belgian authorities have tightened control over mosques and warn about their possible closure.

According to the interior Ministry of Belgium, this year about 19 thousand people entered into the police database on persons suspected of having links with terrorists. In comparison with 2010 this figure increased tenfold. With more than 2.2 thousand people are potentially ready to aggression.

We will remind, on March 23, police in the Belgian city of Antwerp have detained a French citizen who tried to crush pedestrians by car. The year before that in Belgium there have been terrorist attacks, which killed 32 people, injured more than 200 people. Then in the capital, Brussels, a series of explosions: two were recorded at the airport, and one in metro.
