In Austria the conservatives entered into a coalition with the Pro-Kremlin party
Uncategorized December 16, 2017In Austria, the conservative Austrian people’s party (övp) and the Austrian right populist freedom party (fpö) agreed on forming a new government. About it reports Deutsche Welle.
“We can tell you that there’s turquoise blue agreement (the color of the parties – ed.)”, – said the leader of ANP Sebastian Kurz.
31-year-old Kurtz in the new government will take the position of Chancellor and will become the youngest head of government in Europe. The leader of the fpö, Heinz-Christian strache will be the Vice-Chancellor.
Previously, Kurtz noted that the position of his party largely coincides with the position of the right populist fpö. In particular, the issue of illegal migration and reduction of taxes for low-paid workers. But he noted that the coalition needs to be Pro-European.
The Austrian freedom party has a cooperation agreement with United Russia, and advocates the lifting of sanctions against Russia.
