Won the Ukrainian national selection for Eurovision-2019 singer Maruv (Anna Korsun) have complained of pressure from the National television company of Ukraine (NTU).

According to the artist, despite the fact that she is willing to abandon the performances in Russia, visited the Crimea during the last five years, did not violate the Ukrainian laws and expressed readiness to assume the costs of participation in the contest, she is asked to sign a contract, which includes a number of specific requirements.

First, the contestant intend to prohibit any improvisation on stage without the approval of NTU. Singer emphasizes that an inconsistent split would cost her two million.

She also agrees to transfer the copyright to the song and not to talk to journalists without the consent of NTU. One of the conditions the artist must fulfil “all the demands and instructions of NTU”.

“Theoretically, I can make you dance to a birthday party at any of the Deputy Prime Minister, and in case of failure I disqualifiziert and will be obliged again to pay a fine of 2 million hryvnia. Plus to compensate for the NTU’s alleged losses,” the singer explained in his Facebook.

Korsun stressed that in exchange for fulfilling these requirements, she receives no financial or organizational or promotional support.

“I feel the pressure! And I see a clear attempt to cause me to refuse to represent his country at the international contest “Eurovision-2019”, — complained the artist.

The situation is commented on in the Ministry of culture of Ukraine. It stressed that they have “leverage” and does not control the selection of participants.

“The state should provide decent artists, patriots of Ukraine, who are aware of their responsibility”, — stated in the message of the Ministry.

“Don’t worry and sign”

Korsun also admitted that seeking support from the public. But supported it not all.

“Excellent conditions of the contract. You could even add penalties for public communication with the Ukrainians in the language of the aggressor state, but did so. So it a hard life vatnikív,” wrote one of the users of Facebook in the comments to the post.

“You are not Ukrainian and do not attach themselves to my people. If the national selection you can’t put two words in the national language, is touring the country-aggressor and spend rhetoric “around there are good people”, then you have nothing to do in Ukraine. Go to Muscovy and represent the country” — outraged commentators.

“Not Stanislavsky, but I do not believe. Why fundamentally it was impossible to abandon the tour before?” — also write to the singer.

However, along with negative comments against the singer, there are many positive.

“What a humiliating attitude they allow to people. Success they will arrogate to themselves, and if something doesn’t work out — will leave at best one-on-one with the ringing emptiness, and at worst — will give any kind of lumpen and marginalized,” writes one user.

“It’s a shame, when the home country does, does not appreciate it. The conditions are brutal. How can they even agree?! And the main question — what for? No benefits. You just want to bend! If the SAG for your example and other Ukrainians think: “we Must endure”… and if ye will not SAG under these conditions and refuse to participate, which is quite logical, the human wave of indignation and protests against government policy and secured! Therefore it is better to give up and not adapt to these really wild conditions!” — says another user of the social network.

Many suggest the actress to sign a contract, but not to worry about the conditions.

“Unfair and constraining rules of the Treaty are broken in the courts. Do not worry and sign. Then I’ll deal with the lawyers. Think about creativity”, says another commentator.

“The story is not complete”

Recall that during the selection stage, the jury responsible for the selection of the contestant for the upcoming Eurovision, questions and Maruv. Judges are confused, that the singer went on tour in Russia.

In turn, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Vyacheslav Kyrylenko said that the country at the Eurovision song contest-2019 needs to present artists who are not interested tours in Russia, and called the national selection contest “part of Russia’s hybrid war against Ukraine”.

“The representative of Ukraine can not be an artist who is touring in the state aggressor, plans to do in the future and do not see anything unacceptable. So the story of the participant from the Ukraine is still far from complete,” — said Kirilenko.

Later it became known that one of the items in the contract Maruv is the demand to give up touring in Russia.

“Trying to impose certain rules of the game”

Despite the fact that the post of Korsun in the social network has become a hot topic of discussion among Internet users, the reactions to her complaint that the international community should not wait, says music producer Iosif Prigozhin.

“In the struggle all means are good. In my opinion, they are citizens of Ukraine, so they are hostages of circumstances. Okay, they won’t let Russian, but they already forbid her to breathe and to live, to think freely, to move. These artists come from the country, and the country today is another power that tries to impose certain rules of the game” — said Prigogine in conversation with RT.

In his opinion, the ESC will not allow these artists for nothing, but the participants of the music project Maruv desired song contest. According to him, the team, which stylistically correctly built, there is a chance to bring Eurovision to Ukraine.

“There is a full range of “democratic tools”. This was not even during the cold war. Well they won, well, go to Russia. As it prevents to live to the Ukrainian people?” — said Prigogine and added that the song contest and related travel from country to country are the cultural bridge, uniting the society.

The expert noted that music has always United people and made them kinder.

“The Ukrainian authorities it is not profitable, because Maruv really is very well established, including in Russia, they are in demand as actors, they a good attitude. They are not forbidden to perform in Russia, why is Ukraine itself forbids them to speak in Russia? This is pure nonsense. How can I limit the performances of the musician?” he said.

The international community, according to Prigogine, is lethargic and forgets about the need to respect generally accepted human rules.

“People who are trying to impose completely different conditions, not the patriots, populists and speculators. They put people in an impossible position, trying to turn them against Russia, including that in Russia they have not toured, to deprive them of money possibilities. It’s not their business… Maybe I would place Maruv even refused all of these ultimatums or outsmarted them. But no securities would not have signed. Eurovision is only an episode in their lives. This episode will pass. It’s not “Grammy” and “Oscar,” concluded Prigozhin.

Russian composer and producer Igor Matvienko also emphasized that Maruv known not only in Ukraine and Russia but also in Europe and perhaps in America.

“As for the ban, it is very strange that anyone can deny creative people to Express themselves, especially in touring other countries. Maruv would be a perfect representative of the country. I believe that politics should not interfere in such a process, especially in cultural exchanges between countries. Anyway we are all brothers, especially with the Ukrainian people,” — said Matvienko.
