Clients of Gazprombank and Russian agricultural Bank — UnionPay cardholders got access to the new mobile payment system Pay Huawei, previously only available for Chinese users. The system includes a digital wallet, which enables contactless payments with the help of Huawei and Honor devices. It is assumed that the resulting experiences will further help the Chinese Telecom giant to expand into the European market.
To the owners of the Russian UnionPay cards have been able to test Huawei Pay, they need to download the Wallet app from HUAWEI HUAWEI AppGallery.
The application is compatible with Huawei Mate 20, 20 Pro Huawei Mate, Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche design, Huawei P20, P20 Huawei Pro, Huawei P10, P10 Plus Huawei, Honor 10, Honor Honor 9, and V10.
