“We decided not to create a song specifically for Eurovision, and not to use the English language because it will hurt the originality of music, and also negate the authenticity of the folklore text. I believe that only music created without thinking about the format, it is possible to achieve the highest results,” – said in a statement on Facebook.
Band members Julia Yurina and Stas Korolev met in 2016 on the show “Golos Krainy”, where both were members of the team of Ivan Dorn, and now working on his label. In his songs YUKO often uses Ukrainian folklore collected in different parts of our country.
As UNIAN reported earlier, for the right to go to Eurovision in Israel this year will to fight 16 participants, some of whom are members of Nazarbayev past years.
