Germany gives 14 million euros for water supply in the Donbass
Uncategorized December 13, 2017Germany will give United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) an additional 14.3 million euros for the provision of access to drinking water people who live near the demarcation line in the Donbass. About it reports UNIAN with reference to the Embassy of Germany in Ukraine.
The project is planned for 2018-2019, It covers 15 districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
“When water is no longer flowing, the lives of millions of people along the line of differentiation is threatened. Not only disrupted access to drinking water, but also damage to heating systems,” said UNICEF representative in Ukraine Giovanna Barberis.
With the support of UNICEF Germany last year, created 23 early intervention service and conducted educational training for more than thousands of specialists providing special services to children with disabilities in the East of Ukraine.
