The train route from the capital of Azerbaijan in Kharkiv on April 21 will be extended to Kiev.

 

This was reported by the press service of the state company “Ukrzaliznytsya” with reference to acting head of the management Board Evgeny Kravtsov.

 

It is noted that the first flight on the new route the train Baku – Kiev formation of the “Azerbaijan Railways” will depart from Baku on 21 April, and from Kiev – April 23.

 

“Thanks to joint work made possible the continuation of the route of the train №369/370 Baku – Kharkov to Kiev. We analyzed the traffic and proposed new options for logistics. I hope the convenience of this route the passengers will appreciate. Will monitor the demand and its increase to consider the possibility to increase the frequency of operation”, – the press service quoted Kravtsov.

According to the report, in Kyiv the train will arrive at 11:46 and to go to Baku at 14:37.

 

“The train will operate once a week, departure from Baku on Saturdays, arrival to Kyiv on Monday. Back departure from Kiev on Mondays and arrive in Baku on Thursday. In Ukraine, the train will stop in Kharkov, Lyubotin, Poltava, Mirgorod, Lubny, Grebinka,” – said in the message.

 

The press service noted that the train will cover the distance 2757 km in 60 hours.

 

The cost of tickets in a compartment car is about 3950 UAH, reserved seats – 2810 UAH.

 

Note that from 9 November 2017 began operating a direct bus line between Kiev and Baku.
