Former top managers of the Odessa refinery was declared wanted
The suspects are in the “case Kurchenko”
Former CEO and Executive Director of the Odessa refinery wanted. They are suspected of machinations with oil in “criminal Kurchenko’s scheme”. Reports a press about it-service of Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region.
“Odessa oblast Prosecutor’s office performs procedural management in criminal proceedings on the fact of creation of criminal organizations and evasion of taxes in especially large sizes. So, the investigative judge of seaside district court of Odessa by results of consideration of petitions of regional Prosecutor’s office about the arrest of former General Director and the Executive Director of PJSC “Odessa oil refinery”, granted permission for their detention, delivery in court for election of a preventive measure. Now two former officials of the plant wanted. According to available information, these persons are hiding on the territory of the Russian Federation”, – stated in the message.
These top managers are suspected of tax evasion in the structure of the criminal organization using the capabilities of the Odessa refinery, resulting in the state budget has not received more than 2 billion UAH of taxes and fees (paragraph 1 of article 255, part 4 of article 28 – part 3 of article 212, 366 of UK of Ukraine).
Recall that in April 2014, the fugitive businessman Sergei Kurchenko was put on the international wanted list. In March 2016 in respect of Kurchenko was made the message on suspicion, “as the head of a criminal organization, which in the course of 2013 and early 2014 have committed grave and especially grave crimes in the banking industry.”
