Former British Ambassador to Germany and the USA was beaten in the subway

KIEV. July 12. UNN. Former British Ambassador to Germany and the United States Christopher Meyer was beaten in the London underground. It is reported by The Times, reports UNN.

Meyer was taken to hospital, police are treating the attack as an attempted robbery and not associate the incident with his political activities.

“Completely shocked by the brutal attack. He remembers nothing, except that he was rescued by the police. At first I thought that the attack is politically motivated, however, according to the police it was a robbery,” says his wife, Baroness Meyer.

The Meyer was attacked by two young people, a man and a woman. The police detained both of them, their names were not disclosed.
