Fedorov: in Ukraine are going to grant a legal status to bitcoin

KIEV. September 28. UNN. The new Ministry of digital transformation plans to bring to Ukraine the international payment system PayPal, and to determine the legal status of the cryptocurrency. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister and Minister for digital transformation Mikhail Fedorov on the presentation of the Ministry, reports UNN.

“We are now actively working on PayPal. Understand the issues, understand why it had not worked. There really are big problems, but we hope to be able to send the right signal and politically still to resolve this issue, and PayPal will work,” he said.

The Minister also noted that the legal status of the cryptocurrency, will help to legalize work related thereto, such as, for example, buying and selling of cryptocurrency, as well as their “production”. This, in particular, will bring market players from the “gray” zones, will stimulate additional revenues from taxes.
