One of the theories about gaining control over the aging process says that you need to learn when to remove the “decrepit cells”. It is damaged and no longer capable of dividing cells that still take part in the life of the tissues and provoke a negative reaction. If they are removed, the situation is normalized, as eliminate the factor of irritation.

A group of researchers under the leadership of Nicolas Musi the University of Texas at Austin conducted an experiment with 14 patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. They used drugs that are used to fight cancer cells in leukemia, with the combination of dasatinib and querticin. Within three weeks, subjects received nine doses of this “medicine”, after which they have manifested clear signs of improving health.

About the full recovery of the experimental group of the question, the researchers only tested the very concept of the possibility of a therapeutic effect on senile cells. The results are considered promising, so the launch of several new experiments. In one of them a modified version of the anti-aging combination of drugs given to people with lung disease, in another with chronic kidney disease.

Most scientists fear side effects, as all the consequences of the removal of the dying cells, they calculate not. Therefore, the experiments are conducted on those patients who are already almost nothing to lose. But if the work is successful, you can expect a quick development of a universal “pill of old age” for all. Or, at least, this will make old age less painful and uncomfortable.
