Established the preliminary cause of the fire at the Odessa hotel “Old Tokyo”
KIEV. 28 Aug. UNN. During a meeting in the Odessa appellate court Prosecutor’s office said that according to preliminary information, the fire at the Odessa hotel “Tokyo Star”, in which nine people died, arose from-for short circuit. About it the correspondent of UNN reported in the press service of the Prosecutor of Odessa region.
“(During today’s hearing – ed.) said that in criminal proceedings there are materials DSNs that, according to preliminary information, the fire occurred from overloading the power supply, which caused a short circuit. Waiting for the examination results with regard to all the circumstances of the fire,” – said the press service.
Also, there are reports that in 2012 was validation of the SSES, which stopped the running of the hotel, however, quickly replaced by the legal owner to prevent the stopping of the activity.
In addition, the press service added that the co-owner of the hotel “Old Tokyo” August 20 left Ukraine.
We will remind, a fire in the hotel “Tokyo Star”, which killed nine people, occurred in the night from 16 to 17 August. Now, the identities of the nine victims.

The court chose a measure of restraint in form of detention to owner Vadim Black.
