In Ivano-Frankivsk on 66-m to year of life died people’s artist of Ukraine, actor Sergei Romaniuk.
This was reported in Ivano-Frankivsk city mayor Ruslan Martsinko on his page in Facebook.
“Deeply touched by the news of the death of actor Sergei Romaniuk … Despite his age, he was full of energy and plans. Preparing for performances with the “New theatre” and could give odds to any young. It was incredible and such a positive soul, unobtrusive wisdom. Few things in this humble, simple man was given a star of the silver screen, people’s artist … rest in peace! We will definitely remember Sergei Romaniuk – great actor and Person,” wrote Martsinko.

Sergey Romanyuk was born on 21 July 1953 in the city of Krivoy Rog, Dnipropetrovsk region, however he spent his childhood in Novograd-Volyn, Zhytomyr region.
He later graduated from the Studio of the Ukrainian National drama theater. Franko (1973) and in 1972 began working as an actor Ivano-Frankivsk academic regional musical-dramatic theater.
Along with this, starred in many movies. The most famous movies with his participation: “Queen”, “Black Rada”, “bourgeois’s birthday 2”, “Mamaia”, “Return of Mukhtar 2”, “Ivan the Strength” and “Vladyka Andrey.”
