The investigative Committee of Belarus confirmed the detention of the activists of the “Open Russia” Artem Mazenkova and Igor Rogov, they are in the status of suspects on the case of participation in mass riots, said the state Agency BelTA.

“These citizens were detained in Minsk at 02:00 on 11 August in the area of the supermarket “Riga” with outward signs of intoxication. At the moment they are in the status of suspects in a criminal case instituted by the Department of insurance in the city of Minsk on the grounds of article 293 part 2 of the criminal code (participation in mass disorders)”, – quotes Agency the statement of the IC of Belarus.
