Deputy press Secretary, U.S. Department of State Robert Palladino at the briefing said that 54 countries around the world recognize Juan Guado legitimate leader of Venezuela. About it reports UKRINFORM.
“I got the latest figures, there are 54 countries as of now recognize Juan, Guido as interim President,” – said the official representative of US state Department.
He noted that the Guado recognize mostly democratic countries, both from the Western hemisphere and from Europe.

The official also assured that the U.S. will adhere to its policy for the support of the Venezuelan people, and called on other countries to build their policy towards this country in the same way.
“We will continue to look for ways in which we can support the humanitarian needs of Venezuela on the one hand, and we will continue to ask other countries to do the same,” – said the Deputy speaker of the US state Department.
Palladino noted positively the fact that part of the army of Venezuela and the security services move to the side of the people and recognize Juan, Guido interim President.
“So, we will continue to insist, we will continue to put pressure”, – said the official representative of US State Department.
