As the correspondent of the UNIAN reports, the evening of 23 December on Dumskaya square, near city hall, opened with a festival of light art. The ceremony was attended by hundreds of citizens of Odessa and guests of the city.

The festival opened with a multimedia show with a performance of “Conductor of light” in which “the role of a” conductor designated giant light puppet. The festival, which will run through December 25, will present multimedia show, the contest video projections 3D Video Art and light installations.
As noted in the press service of the city hall, to the creative process of the festival was joined by artists from Ukraine, France, Brazil, Spain, Belarus, Italy and other countries. “Visual artists will create a colorful event, whose main character is light,” – said the press service.
In the framework of the festival the 24th of December will be held the international contest VJ and video projections 3D Video Art on the theme of “Science as a miracle.” On Tuesday, December 25, held a retrospective of the best works presented at festivals of last years. Near Odessa national academic Opera and ballet theatre, the audience will show the light installation “Alchemy”. The holiday atmosphere will support lighting installations that will light up daily from 18.00 to 22.30.
