According to preliminary information, during the excavation 22b on the Western panel of the horizon -620 meters, collapsed the roof rocks with the release of gas (methane) and salt from the array. Under the rubble in the mine was two employees. It is reported by UNN citing the website of the Ministry of emergency situations of Belarus.
“In this area there were two workers. Employees of paramilitary mountain rescue parts of the enterprise performed works on rassasavanii this site for reducing the concentration of methane vapor in the air and work began on dismantling the dam. The cause of the accident revealed”, — is spoken in the message.
Another of the Ministry of emergency situations told radio Svaboda he was not authorized to give additional information about what happened.
