“I just hate that we all have the impression that I was guilty. Some experts like to state that in my blood was found Oxandrolone. I was accused of a nonexistent, mythical doping scheme. Apparently, because the show myth in real life is problematic enough” — quoted by TASS Ustyugov.

He noted that he had repeatedly requested a meeting with the informant’s testimony, which built his case.

“I was accused of using Oxandrolone, but we have studied this question with the lawyers and found out that this substance is simply impossible to legally purchase in Russia. And Moscow laboratory, as we also found, not purchased samples. Hangs another question: as this test was done? In fact, I was accused of murder in the absence of the fact of murder,” — said biathlete.

According to the decision of the IBU will be cancelled all the results of Ustyugov in the period from 27 Aug 2013 to end of season 2013/14. Thus, he will lose the gold the Olympic games of 2014 in Sochi which won in the relay. At the end of proceedings 2017 and 2018 the Ustyugov, there were no violations.

Earlier Ustyugov explained why he had filed a lawsuit against IBU.
