The Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov has commented on the possibility of a ban on holding mass events in connection with the spread of the coronavirus.

As report “news of Neva”, the Governor called such actions premature.

Beglov said that the city has already adopted all the necessary measures of protection against coronavirus.

“I believe that we have in the region of one situation in Moscow the situation is different. I think that today it is premature. Until we have the situation, reserve the relevant medical institutions (health resort / sanatorium “Zarya”). We’re ready medical personnel, medicines, equipment,” — he stressed.

According to the Governor, currently banning something prematurely, and then everything will depend on the situation.
