KIEV. June 11. UNN. Around 00:00 on June 10 near the checkpoint “Luzhniki – Beregsurány” airspace of Hungary crossed the territory of Ukraine. This was announced by the Hungarian edition of the Index with reference to information of the Ministry of defense of Hungary, reports UNN.
“The guards immediately declared an emergency and reported to the appropriate security authorities of NATO. In addition, the air lifted the Swedish multi-purpose fighter of fourth generation Saab JAS 39 Gripen”, — stated in the message.
The incident occurred on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border near the checkpoint “Luzhniki — Beregsurány”.
Hungarian military noted that the plane arriving from Ukraine, left the airspace of Hungary after a series of maneuvers.
“It is possible that this is another smuggling plane, which Transcarpathian businessmen sent to the EU for everything, cigarettes, illegal and other prohibited goods” — noted in the publication.
As noted, Ukrainian aircraft did a few laps, then left the air border with Hungary.
