Ukrzaliznytsia plans to launch high-speed trains to Odessa from the Dnieper and the city.
About this informed the head of the Board of PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” Wojciech Balczun on his page in Facebook.
“In the future, given the existing rolling stock and through the acquisition of additional interregional dual-system electric trains, planning to connect high speed rail regional industrial center Dnepr to the black sea coast city of Odessa. This is especially true for the transportation of passengers during the summer vacations,” said Balcon.
However, the specific timing of the head of Railways did not name.
As to Lviv, it, according to Balcona, you can connect high-speed movement with Odessa at the expense of existing resources.
“The plans – due to the lengthening of the existing route Kyiv-Lviv to Odessa and Kiev-Odessa to Lviv triangle Kyiv-Lviv-Odessa-Kiev to join the city of Lviv to Odessa”, – said the head of government.
Recall from Kiev to Odessa will be allowed one additional train.
