Fans of extreme sports, shooting video for their achievements, typically use cameras with motorized stabilizers, however, as practice shows, their weak point is the poor security. Advanced Steadicam for camcorder Arculus Onyx spared from this problem.

Its creators are brothers, Jeffrey and Jimmy Desborough from New Zealand. Housing them in a Steadicam consists of a titanium “skeleton”, made by laser sintering and shell from carbon fiber.

Inside the case is a set of brushless motors that automatically turn off, and cant even turn mounted digital camera DSLR or video camera weighing up to 2 kg, to compensate for fluctuations and drift.
