Ancient coins found in Odessa region

KIEV. May 23. UNN. May 22, at the checkpoint “Reni” law enforcement officers found 7 coins of Greece, Britain and tsarist Russia, dated XIX century. This is reported by UNN citing the press service of the State border service of Ukraine.

Yesterday, may 22, at the time of registration for entrance to Ukraine Ukrainian car registration brand “SsangYong” border guards discovered ancient coins.

The car was followed from Athens to Odessa. Given the risks, the border guards initiated in conjunction with the in-depth customs inspection of the vehicle. During the inspection of the vehicle in the Luggage compartment among the personal belongings of the review group found 7 coins of Greece, Britain and tsarist Russia, dated XIX векjv.

Now the coins seized for violation of customs regulations. Per passenger, a citizen of Greece, compiled procedural documents.

As reported UNN, on may 23 the investigation into the smuggling of cultural values will control the Prosecutor’s office of Chernihiv region.
