An attacker with a gun robbed a taxi driver in Odessa region and stole his car

ODESSA-KIEV. 20 Feb. UNN. Odessa police arrested the attacker who is threatening with a pistol, robbed the 50-year-old taxi driver car and two phones. About it the correspondent of UNN reported in the press service of GUNP in Odessa region.

The robbery occurred on the night in the Razdelnyansky area and caught the suspect in the center of Odessa.

“The passenger had picked up the victim, instead of paying the fare, began to threaten the driver with a pneumatic gun. The attacker took control of two phones and fled the scene on the car of the victim”, – militiamen noted.

Later, the police guard noticed the stolen car in Odessa, near the market “Supply”, at the intersection of Catherine and Nooseplay a row.

As it turned out, 29-year-old man had previously been convicted for robbery and burglary. Law enforcement officers seized from him an air gun and two stolen phone. Now the investigation continues. The detainee is charged with robbery and unlawful taking of a vehicle.
