The rocket destroyer of naval forces of the USA “Donald Cook” left the port of Odessa.
About it reports a press-service of the Sixth fleet of the U.S. Navy.
“Missile USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) departed Odessa on February 27 after completing a scheduled port visit as part of our constant presence in the Black sea and support our NATO allies and regional partners”, – said in the Navy.
The destroyer will leave the Black sea on March 1.

As stated in the message, during stay in port the ship has held high-level meetings of representatives of USA, Ukraine and other European countries, including the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, the US Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, US special representative for talks Kurt Volker, US Ambassador to the EU, Gordon Sandland and civilian Deputy commander of the European command of the US Ambassador Philip Reeker.
