Again Samsung will sue Apple
Both sides before 25 October should make proposals regarding the date of hearing on reconsideration of the patent case
Multi-year patent conflict between Apple and Samsung is preparing for another round.
The lawyers of Samsung, which over the past few years has reduced payments initially established by the court of $1.05 billion to $400 million, has filed another lawsuit to review the amount of compensation.
As reported by the international media with reference to The Verge, according to court document, the two sides until 25 October to submit proposals regarding the date of hearing on reconsideration of the case.
That Samsung violated several of its smartphones some of Apple’s patents has already been recognized by the court fact. But what about compensation – it must be the entire profit derived from the sale of products which infringed patents, or only part?
We will note, earlier the U.S. Supreme court reversed the decision of the lower court with the return of all profits, considering it unfair. And now under reconsideration, the parties will once again prove his innocence.
