Former first Deputy Chairman of the National police Vyacheslav Abroskin became rector of the Odessa state University of internal Affairs.

As reported on the University’s website, October 4, by order of the Ministry, rector of the Odessa state University of internal Affairs appointed Abroskin, who until recently held the position of first Deputy Chairman of the National police of Ukraine – the chief of criminal police.

First Deputy Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Sergey Spring presented to the faculty of the new head of the University. He noted that Abroskin rests a very serious responsibility.

“It depends on you with whom we work, and who will carry out the tasks facing the Ministry of internal Affairs and units of the National police of Ukraine”, – said Spring.

This Abroskin thanked the Ministry for their trust, noting that the Odessa state University of internal Affairs is a leading institution of higher education of the interior Ministry with a long history. The newly appointed rector said that the main task is to become even better, continuing the tradition of the University in the training and education of qualified police personnel.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Abroskin held the position of first Deputy Chairman of the national police from July 2017 to September 2019.
