A new Ariane 6 rocket used to launch OneWeb satellites

KIEV. 28 Feb. UNN. Arianespace and OneWeb company signed an agreement to use a new rocket Ariane 6 launch of the British firm. This was stated on Thursday by the Executive Director of Arianespace, stéphane Israel, reports UNN.
“I would like to say that OneWeb and Arianespace have reached an agreement, which complements the current portfolio of orders, he said at a press conference after the successful launch from Kourou the first six OneWeb satellites. – This agreement involves use by OneWeb’s inauguration (first) flight of the Ariane 6. It will be Ariane 62 and a put option on two future missions of the Ariane 6. So today I can say that the upcoming flight of Ariane 62 would be performed for OneWeb”.
This message were met with applause. After that, Israel invited the partners in OneWeb to the podium for a group photo. Later on Twitter he said that the details of the agreement will be announced in March.
