KIEV. 24 Dec. UNN. A column of smoke above the volcano Etna, Sicily, photographed from the International space station. The put yourself in the journalist Sotiris Gianiodis, reports UNN.
Today, 24 Dec, the volcano threw a column of ash. The eruption was triggered by a small force of earthquakes. Previously, the region recorded 130 seismic aftershocks, the strongest one of magnitude 4.0.
After ash reduce visibility in the sky over the island local authorities have partially closed the airspace. However, the aircraft, although in smaller quantities, fly to Sicily, and their passengers are eager to share on social networks photos of mount Etna.
