Romanian Simona Halep has defeated Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia in the first match on total tournament WTA in Singapore.
The meeting ended with the score 6:4, 6:2. Tennis players spent on the court 1 hour 28 minutes.
Halep became the leader of the “red group”, which also include Ukrainian Elina Svitolina and Danish Caroline Wozniacki.
The prize Fund of the tournament amounts to 7 000 000 dollars, informs SE.
