Lutsk city Council asked the Verkhovna Rada to appoint elections of the mayor

Deputies of the Lutsk city Council appealed to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with a request to immediately appoint elections of the mayor. This reports the press service of the Lutsk city Council.
“At the plenary session of session of city Council deputies supported the appeal of the Lutsk city Council to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, prepared by the Deputy Andrei Pokrovsky, for immediate consideration of the question of purpose of snap elections of the city Chairman and determine the period of their carrying out”, – stated in the message.
Recall, February 3 died, the mayor of Lutsk Mykola Romaniuk. The first time the duties of mayor were performed by the Secretary of the city Council Julia Bosenko. 15 March 24 of 27 present deputies of the Council voted for her removal from office. On March 21 a new Secretary was elected Igor Polishchuk.
